Install DatePop

Put the countdown firmware on your ESP32-4848S040 in a couple of minutes.

Use Chrome or Edge on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer (Safari and Firefox can't talk to USB devices).
Plug the DatePop in with a USB-C data cable. Charge-only cables won't work – if nothing shows up, try another cable.
Press Install DatePop, pick the port called USB Serial, CH340 or wchusbserial and tick Erase device.
Wait until it says the installation is complete (about 3 minutes), then unplug and plug the DatePop back in.

This browser can't flash devices. Please open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer. This page must be opened over https:// or from localhost.

If it doesn't connect

No port in the list? Install the WCH CH34x driver from wch-ic.com (Windows) or wch-ic.com (macOS), then replug.
"Failed to connect"? Hold the BOOT button on the back of the board, tap RESET (or unplug and replug USB while holding BOOT), release BOOT, then press Install again.
Still stuck? The README explains how to flash with esptool instead.

After installing, the DatePop shows a Wi-Fi QR code. Scan it with your phone to finish setup.
